Worrying About Fixed Return On Your Investment

We all want our money to be innocuous with large amount of returns on it. But market operates the other way; the returns are usually high where the investment is risky and vice-versa. So to find a suitable investment policy is very difficult as it differs from mortal to person. The investment policy of one might not the other even if their objectives are clear. There are many investment schemes running in the market, also how the scheme is doing in the market.

Out of all there is one interesting one, Pancard club Investment Plan. The scheme recommends investing some amount with the company & enjoying certain number of nights in their hotels or resorts. The amount to be invested depends upon the number of years a mortal wish to enjoy the benefit of holidays in company’s resorts or hotels. Some says that this investment plan run by Pancard Clubs is a fraud scheme. I am just not sure on what evidence they saying this. I enquired about this. I asked many people who are the members of the Pancard Clubs about their experience with the company. None of them gave a negative feedback. All were satisfied with their investment, as they were enjoying their holidays at the ideal resorts or hotels. All their properties are well maintained. The scheme also says if at all we couldn’t utilize all our room nights we can surrender them at a price decided at the time of investment. Along with these things, company also offers other benefits like insurance, medi-claims & discount cards. So this scheme is great for all travelers or people who like to spend calibre time with their loved ones. Also the rates decided upon at the time of investment will not even change throughout your investment term.

On a whole, one gets to enjoy the holidays at a fixed price throughout their investment term. One need not worry about the inflation or rising cost it will have no impact on their investment. The room will be provided at the rate decided at the time of investment. Even if one can't utilize each room nights allotted to them, they still can benefit from it. They can surrender their room at a price which will be decided at the time of investing. One thing for sure, there is no fraud or scam in this investment plan. One can invest and enjoy their holiday any time they wish.

Safe Investments 101

These questions range from: “What are the safest investments available?” to “What are the ideal high yield innocuous investments?” — but they all involve the central themes of low risk and quality security.

And who can blame them?  The global economy is on tilt, largely being driven by the United States, the world’s financial core. Stock markets are experiencing significant devaluations, financial institutions are defaulting left and right, the foreclosure market is rampant and unemployment remains near all-time highs.  Sound like Armageddon?

What’s an investor to do?  What is the the safest place to invest money today?  Is it doable to find high yield innocuous investments anymore?  Or, should I just keep my money in my mattress where it won’t lose value?  Oops!  I forgot about inflation!  Even in my mattress, I’m losing money

Safe Investing FAQ’s

What’s interesting is: depending upon the investment guru that you listen to, there are a lot of different views being given in response to these questions.

Invest In Something That Cannot Fail

My older brothers and I grew up in a small town in northwestern Pennsylvania.  The three of us were so different in so many ways.  Randy was five years older than I.  He was concerned by his own curiosity.  I was always satisfied to believe that if an goal worked it was worth keeping, if it didn’t work it should be thrown away.  Randy viewed things in an entirely different way.  If it worked he wanted to divide it into pieces to determine why it worked and if it didn’t work he would embark on a mission to find reasons for its failure.

That’s why, as a young teenager I remember him spending hour upon hour in our father’s garage.  He had attained a go-cart, whether he bought it, found it or it was given to him, I don’t remember.  I know it didn’t work and so I swiftly categorized it as a piece of junk worthy to be thrown into the deep ravine behind our house.  One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.  Randy dedicated many days to the task of fixing that go-cart.

One day, to my astonishment, I saw him putt-putt putting up the hill.  He drove it out of sight but I could still hear the engine.  And then I couldn’t hear the engine.  A short time later I saw Randy actuation the cart back into the garage where he continued to invest in his dream, albeit, without much optimism.  No longer an goal of his affection,  the cart was abused by my angry brother.  My curiosity turned to amusement as I heard grunts of despair and an occasion hammer or screw driver come flying out of the garage.

Hours turned into days and Randy’s investment turned to futility.  But he just couldn’t let it go.  He was obsessed.  He didn’t want to eat.  He isolated himself from the rest of us.  He couldn’t let it go because he had invested too much.  The go-cart, which had tiny value from the first moment he pushed it into the garage seemed to increase in value after several days because of the deposits of hard fag and extensive thought Randy had invested.  But it was an illusion.  The truth is that the go-cart was always a piece of junk unworthy of Randy’s investment.

How common is it to mistakenly measure the value of something by the amount of time or energy we’ve invested in it?

The wealthiest man in the world is not Bill Gates. It is a man from Mexico titled Carlos Slim.  He prefabricated his wealth through the privatization of Mexico’s national telephone company during the 1990’s.  In last week’s stock market dip, Carlos lost almost billion dollars!  Even the investments of the richest man in the world can never be entirely safe.

The countries of the world stand like spectators at an air Fair who have just seen a plane crash to earth, motionless, with jaws hanging low as they witness the economic collapse of the greatest, wealthiest country the world has ever known.  The world has been green for many decades now.  The U.S. has been a like a forest of green money producing trees and the other countries of the world have been green with envy.  The trees are bare now.  The leaves have fallen and threaten to form a brown blanket of bankruptcy.

Who doesn’t have a story about a unsuccessful investment?  Isn’t that what life is really all about?  Fifty percent of Americans invest in marriage only to see it end.  Al and Tipper Gore apiece invested forty years in their marriage. Cumulatively, they invested eighty years only to see their marriage end in divorce.

I invested several years pastoring a church that no longer exists.  I taught five years in a high school that no longer exists.  I’ve invested many, many years in friendships that have ended because of relocation or redirection that comes so unexpectedly in life.

Politicians can’t let unsuccessful policies go because they’ve prefabricated individualized deposits that have encouraged them to think they are infallible.  Media members hold onto unsuccessful politicians because they have honked their horns so loudly for them they can't grappling the humility of a unsuccessful investment.

Here is some sound investment advice.  Why not invest in a relationship that can never fail?  Why not develop a relationship with someone who is perfect, someone who will never be dishonest, who will never change you?  The astonishing thing is not so much that He is perfect, it is that the Perfect One would wage a way for imperfect beings like you and I to develop a relationship with him.

Why not invest in a relationship that will never end?  There will be no divorce.  There will be no death.  Unlike many marriages and friendships, this relationship lasts forever and ever.  It never dies, it never fades away.  Leila Morris wrote a song over a hundred years ago that describes this relationship well; “Twas wondrous love which led Him for us to suffer loss, To bear without a murmur the discomfort of the cross;”  He bought the right to claim us as sons and daughters, as joint heirs of the kingdom of God and now our relationship with him is “Sweeter as the years go by, Richer, fuller, deeper, Jesus’ love is sweeter, Sweeter as the years go by.”

Why do we spend our entire lives trying to find comfort in a fallen world?  We spin our  wheels in a manic mission to accumulate as much wealth and influence as doable only to be disappointed when we come to the end of the road and we are visaged with the realization that our few moments here are like a drop in the ocean when compare with our eternal future.  Why did we invest in something that would perish and drop away?  “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.”  (Matthew 6:19-20)  Why don’t we invest in a kingdom that will never end?

Do you want a innocuous investment?  Invest in the One who will “reign over the Home of biochemist forever” and in a “kingdom that shall have no end.”  (Luke 1:33)

Invest in Real Estate Not Stock. Stock Is Much Riskier Than Real Estate

There are two very major differences between investing in stock and investing in real estate.  When investing in stocks you are typically investing for capital gains versus cash flow and have no control.  In stock you are investing for capital gains, for the hope that it goes up over time but with very tiny control over the value increase or decrease.  Most people, other than those that invest for cash flow dividends, invest for capital gains in stocks.  But without control or seeing any return on your money without selling you are in a losing situation.  You should NEVER purchase an quality that you do not control, unless the return on investment is substantial enough to equilibrise out the control.  Historically stocks have not averaged a high enough interest rate to justify the demand of control and increased risk.  You have to be a professional stock investor, know some insider trading information and have some luck to beat the historic performance of stocks.  In addition, as most people have seen in the stock market, half of your wealth can be gone literally overnight.  Now if that is not a scary situation I don’t know what is.  I know, I know, but the stock market has gone up so much in the last year.  It has gone up because of all of the artificial government stimulus and extend and pretend economics.  Not to mention the big influx of cash into the banking system which is being hoarded by the banks and not being lent out, only for them to go invest it in the stock market for the short term.  Why do they care, it’s not their money anyway, it’s the taxpayers money.   Also, there are millions of people not paying their mortgage payments which is also adding to the amount of money people have acquirable to spend.  What did you think they were saving it?

On the other hand you have real estate.  Which we just saw drop in value significantly and it will be declining more in major volatile markets like California because of the economics of those markets.  Remember, real estate is dependent on local economies for the most part.  The biggest difference between investing in stock versus investing in real estate is that with real estate you should invest for cash flow and invest in assets you have control over.  Yes, we have all seen many people’s wealth deplete significantly in real estate also, but that was because people were investing for capital gains on the real estate and not cash flow.  If you invest for cash flow first then no matter what the value of the real estate does you are still collecting your cash flow and are not as susceptible to the economic corrections.  When you invest for cash flow, at the right time of the market you get the abilities of increasing capital gains while also increasing cash flows.  As the mortgage market gets tighter and people can't go into big debt to purchase a home anymore it means you will have an increase in renters which increase your rent payments.  As inflation happens, which is already happening, housing prices typically increase as well.  Investing for cash flows also grants you to strategically increase the value of the quality by increasing rents, decreasing expenses and helps you develop a strategic financial plan with a set goal.  If you set goals to cover all of your individualized expenses with cash flow by buying cash flow assets you can truly be financially free.  It takes time but if you develop cash flow streams you do not have to be part of the new poor (old middle class).  The way you develop cash flow streams through real estate is by first getting educated.  Without education many investors purchase wrong and lose money.  There are a lot of barriers into the world of real estate so get educated first and then take action.  There are many strategic ways of investing if you know the methods.  Joint ventures are a great way to go and there are companies like ours out there that offer seller financing for those that demand credit but have the down payment.  If you learn these strategic methods you can compound your wealth faster than you would have ever thought possible.
